Jack Johnson - Gone Courtest of thefatmanwalksalone or just Mathew
After waiting two months for a good version of this tab to appear anywhere online, I got frustrated and decided to do it myself. This is a great song by Jack which is on his On and On cd and also Bonaroo 2003-- I belive. To my knowlege this is the most accurate and most complete version available online.
----------- Intro: 4X ----------- e------------------------- B--------9----------5----- G--------9----------6----- D-----9--9-------6--6----- A---7----------4---------- E-------------------------
------------------ Verse: As Needed ------------------ e-------------------------------------------- B--------9----------------------5------------ G--------9----------5-----------6---------7-- D-----9--9-------6--6--------6--6---------7-- A---7---------------6------4-----------7--7-- E--------------4---------------------5-------
on such lines as: "streight from the mold...." "things that concern you" add this part at the end of the verse
e------------------------------------------------------ B--------10------------10------------------------------ G--------11------------11-------------8---------8------ D----11--11--11---11---11--11---------9---------9------ A--9------------9------------------9--9--9---9--9--9--- E--------------------------------7---------7-----------
---------- Chorus: ----------
e-------------------------------------------- B--------9----------------------5------------ G--------9----------8-----------6---------7-- D-----9--9----------9--------6--6---------7-- A---7------------9--9------4-----------7--7-- E--------------7---------------------5-------
Heres the order: Intro, Verse, Refrain, Verse, Refrain, Chorus, Intro, Verse, Refrain, Chorus
I like to add a single string mute in between the chords for rhythm. It sounds like jack somehow slides a little bit or something. Maybe it's just his expensive setup verses my really, really cheap one.
IF YOU LIKE THIS TAB, RATE IT !! --THANKS MATHEW :-)
